I thought today I would take you on one of my walks...
I have been walking since our last snow on April 10th. I have really enjoyed taking pictures of all the signs of springs as I walk. I have been working up to my bigger routes. So today I finally felt like I could handle a 3 mile walk. So I went to the lake & of course I took my camera along. I hope you like the pictures. I was fortunate enough to see some wild life. Just as I was leaving a Gray Heron landed. I was thrilled. I will share with you the amazing tranformation this place takes on in late Spring & early Summer. It is so beautiful & so full of life then.
Thanks for coming along!

Problem: a PILLOW that is too FLAT
Doug's Solution: make 2 pillows that are really flat into 1 FLUFFY pillow!
Procedure: Tear open 2 pillows & shred them. At first Doug tried scissors but Sierra showed him tearing off chunks was much easier & more efficient
By the time they had shredded 2 pillows....
it looked like they were in the middle of a cloud.
Sierra looked so angelic on her cloud!
Then Doug stuffed about 1/2 of the stuffing back into one of the pillow cases & sewed it shut. and he had a very fluffy pillow indeed!
Can you tell there is not A LOT going on around here to tell you about.. but I wanted to add something new! Wendy

Easter Outfit
Well turns out that I was still suffering from the NASTIEST OF FLU BUGS EVER. SO I have yet to wear my Easter outfit.
But Sierra wore hers & it was lovely!!
Here is a closer look!!!
The best part of this outfit is that the beautiful silk oriental looking skirt was the Bargin of the Century. When Sierra & I went to Loveland for a "ski trip"... We don't ski!... so we went shopping & in Coldie Water Creekie we found this skirt. The tag says $98.00 reduced to $60.00 and the day we found it clearanced at $10.00. Then Yellow is Sierra's favorite color so we decided a lovely pale yellow would be nice color to accessorize with the rest of the outfit!! And you can not clearly see it but she even has yellow & green bands on her teeth for Easter.
Maybe the Sunday after Conference I will get to wear my out fit!
