Well the baby birds got the names Pete and RE-Pete from Doug. I just call them my Baby Birdies! We all say Hi to them as we come and go!! They are getting more aggressive sticking their little necks up as high as they can to be the first one fed when Mom and Dad come in to feed them.

So are you asking what happened to the 3rd egg? We are guessing it didn't hatch.
All the pictures we have taken have only shown 2 birdies. At first I was sad but I read on line sometimes the eggs do not get fertilized so only 2 hatch most robins have 3 eggs.

Oh how sweet. We had baby birds right out our kitchen window last year. It was fun to watch them grow, then one day they were gone. I haven't noticed any this year. Thanks for sharing yours. :c)
how cute! so tiny and dependent. I remember a church lesson about the hacking of eggs. We as humans can't help even if they needed it, because that is there first lifes lesson. If you can get out of this darn hard shell, then you can do anything. LOL
