Humanitarian Quilting

Sierra and I have been BUSY this last month since Camp was over helping our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, with their Humanitarian quilting project. The last time our church did this we presented 44,000 quilts to the humanitarian efforts around the world.
Our Stake has been asked to make 600 quilts in 3 months. There are 6 wards, or groups each making 100 quilts to accomplish this goal. We are currently at 58 of our needed 100 and doing well. Thanks much to the efforts of those who have been put in charge and the many people willingly helping to reach this goal! We have had big days where some people quilted all day long and others stopped by to help when time permitted. It has been an AMAZING experience to be part of such a huge service to the world!!!
